| Happy 2009!!! Buckle your seat-belts....it's going to be quite a ride this year. We all knew it was coming...we can't shift into a new birth without some labor pains. Soooo...what does this mean...well, Pluto(deep transformation) has just moved into Capricorn until 2023. Pluto rules mass consciousness...and Capricorn governs world structures, government, control...etc. We will see some shifts in just about everything that has to do with world powers. Wherever this is in your chart, indicates a shift in power for you...a re-structuring that allows more of an authentic expression. Those of you with early birthdays in Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, and Libra...will definitely be feeling the shift in certain important relationships for the next 3 years. We have to get rid of what doesn't work, then we can begin again. Jupiter rules expansion...fortune, and is moving into Aquarius for a year long stay. This encourages growth in spiritual concepts. It's stay in Aquarius celebrates diversity, and encourages us all to have respect for all, allowing each of us to choose the path that it is right for us as individuals. Leave judgments behind...they do not serve love...which is really all that matters. We are spiritual beings, having a physical experience. Aquarius is interested in what is good for the whole of humankind. Jupiter won't bring the opportunity to your door, but will bring success with effort put forth. Early born Aquarius, Leos, Taurus, and Scorpio are ripe for positive change. Wherever Aquarius rules in your chart, you are all ready for some uplifting experience...a broadening of perception, encouraging practical application. All air signs, Gemini, Libra, as well as Aquarians will be delighted with shifts in their lives with new opportunities. However, remember that we all have Aquarius ruling a sector of our lives in the astrological chart...so we all have tremendous opportunity for advancement in some area of our lives. The mood of the year however, is one of conservation. We have really allowed our government to get wayyy out of control. Now it's time for all of us to do our parts to bring the overspending, and blatant waste, into balance. I don't know how much more Mother Earth can take. We are the land of opportunity...however gluttony has ruled for far too long. It's going to take a while to get this in order...so please, no matter how good things look at times during this year...please be mindful of where you are putting your money. America has a tendency to think nothing bad can really happen to 'us'...however, 9/11 was real, and those energies are still with us...we need to take care of business, conservatively...trust me on this. When Jupiter reaches a close connection with Neptune (dreams, fantasy) this summer, we can allow ourselves to be lulled into a dream state, that sees only what it wants to see...please focus...and be shrewd with your decisions. Saturn rules re-structuring, and is in the sign of Virgo until September. Saturn (tradition) will be doing an opposition with Uranus (new possibilities)... encouraging new ways of handling the same old problems. Saturn and Uranus will finish their opposition by May, 2010.President Obama represents Uranian change...moving toward positive shifts in global responsibility. He has his work cut out for him...and needs all of us to help with the inevitable struggles that will ensue. The 'old boy network' isn't going down easy...however, if the Berlin wall can come down, anything can happen...and needs to. With Saturn in Virgo, food supplies, and integrity issues come into play. The genetically altered food has some really strong implications of empty nutrition. I personally have had food in some of Sacramento's finest restaurants, green beans to be exact...and they were not naturally grown...it was obvious...not the texture, nor taste...BOO! For those of us that are trying to eat right for health reasons, this is too frustrating. So...we will see some challenges with food supply, and if you have ever wanted to start a garden, this is the year to learn how...and go for it. Uranus will stay in the sign of Pisces all year,strongly encouraging 'out of the blue' changes in your chart...wherever it is...and whatever planets it is in contact with, will tell the story. Later born Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Gemini...are all being made to clean out their closets, emotional, as well as physical. This aspect only comes around once in your life...and always leaves something better in it's place...so don't slack...be willing to clear out anything that is 'over' in your life...be thorough. Stress will continue, and loss of jobs, homes, retirement funds will prevail through the year. It's important to remember where our safety really lies...within our ability to shift, and move with the changes... with faith. Our compassion and willingness to help others will be very important. There are a lot of 'doom and gloomers' out there...watch with whom you spend your time. For those of you who can exercise...this will save your sanity. Meditation, and quiet time of contemplation will also help you stay in faith. All in all, we are looking at the next 3 to 5 years... we, as a human family, need make some huge changes in our world that leaves us with an attitude of gratitude, compassion, and universal love that extends to all...remember we are all one...there is no separation...all for one...one for all! We are the change that is needed...and "Yes we can!" God Speed! |
